Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of EV Navi (the "Service"), a web application available at mapsev.com, operated by Mapsev ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

EV Navi provides route planning for electric vehicles, charging-stop planning, traffic, weather and charger information, and optional live data from your own car. Navigation guidance is an aid only. You remain responsible for driving safely, obeying road signs, traffic laws and the instructions of authorities, and for verifying charger availability before relying on it. Maps, traffic, charger and vehicle data come from third parties and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong.

2. Accounts

Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to circumvent access controls, or use automated tools to extract data.

3. Premium subscription and free trial

Premium features are available by subscription (monthly or annual), after a 14-day free trial that every new account receives at first sign-in, without a payment method. Nothing is charged during the trial; a subscription is charged when you check out. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Current prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout, including any applicable tax.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account; Premium stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

5. Connecting your car

If you link a Tesla account or an OBD-II adapter, you authorise us to read your car's charge state and, for Tesla, to wake the car to read it. We send no other commands. You can revoke access at any time from the app or from your Tesla account.

6. Acceptable use

You may not resell the Service, scrape or bulk-download its data, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that breaks the law or third-party rights.

7. Changes

We may change the Service and these terms. Material changes to prices or terms are announced in the app or by email before they take effect; continued use after that means you accept them.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on navigation, traffic, charger or vehicle data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
